Not every window needs replacing. If there is a broken seal, or cracked glass in a window, there’s a good chance you can just replace the glass. It’s not always necessary to change the whole window out.  

Whether you want an update to your existing door glass, or you have none at all, there is a simple fix. Your existing solid door can be cut out and one of many styles of glass insert can be put in.  

Years of sun and wind can cause your exterior sealants to fail. Re-calking can help keep the wind and water from seeping in. 

Sometimes your door handle or knob will wear out. Sometimes it isn’t so simple to replace yourself. James will replace your old handle with quality hardware. If your door doesn’t have a deadbolt, that can be added as well. If you have a Weiser lock, James may be able to re-key it to match existing keys for the home. 

There are many different types of door seals, so it’s hard to know which ones will work when replacing them. James stocks many types and will most likely have what you need to stop the drafts from coming in. Whether its the bottom sweeps or the surrounding weatherstrips, James has what you need. Changing out old hinges can also help with sagged older doors.

Sometimes you just need a door open to get a good breeze going though the house. A storm door is an affordable add-on that will keep the critters out while letting the breeze in. Also, replacing your old faded storm door can be a great way to update your homes appearance. 

Old, worn out rollers can make it hard to use your old patio door. Sometimes, all you need is the rollers replaced. Handles and locks can also be replaced. Both are much more affordable alternatives to replacing the whole door. 

Have James replace your rusted or corroded window hardware with new hardware. Cranks, handles, and locks can often be replaced at a much lower price than replacing your whole window.
